Wild boars ‘invade’ the center of Nerja and the Balcony of Europe

Several animals travel through the axarchic locality at dawn as a result of drought

The problem with the presence of wild boars in the urban centers of the province continues to spread, as a result of drought. If in municipalities such as Mijas, Benalmádena, Torremolinos or Rincón de la Victoria, it has become a usual pattern, causing considerable damage to golf courses and urbanization gardens. 

Several witnesses have reported sightings of these animals and the videos are circulating on social networks.

Seen in the central streets, such as Diputación and Castilla Pérez, before returning to an uninhabited area.

These types of episodes are becoming more frequent in many municipalities in Malaga, especially those closest to areas of the mountains, such as Nerja. The animals, in the absence of rain, go down to look for food among the garbage containers.
