2018 Frigiliana grew by 15% in the number of visitors compared to the previous year. The most visitors after the Spaniards continues to come from the United Kingdom, followed closely by Germany.
Decades ago the majority of tourists that visited were day trippers, they spent a few hours in the town and then left. Nowadays the situation has changed due to the great strength of the local tourist industry. Among hotel establishments, apartments, rural houses and tourist accommodation.
In the rural accommodation Frigiliana has 355 establishments registered by the Ministry of Tourism of the Junta de Andalucía, which total 2063 places.
