the Real 98 exhibition hall in Frigiliana will host a new exhibition of Pitura. It will show works by the artist Coby Bloemsma.
You can visit every day from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Biography
I have loved drawing and painting all my life but since my retirement at the age of 55, this love has become a daily passion. I studied art at High School in Australia and at a Fashion School in Holland. During my working career I enjoyed learning many different techniques attending art classes in my spare time.
I paint in oils and acrylics. My favourite subjects are portraits and figures. I also paint landscapes, animals and flowers, realistically or in the abstract. I find it all fascinating but I am forever searching, trying to let go of fixed ideas, experimenting with style and colour.
I also make 3 dimensional objects in papier mache or with recycled materials such as drift wood .I am a principal member of the Axarquia Art Group
