One hundred children participate in the IV CNA Swimming Campus Villa de Frigiliana

The campus has the presence of several swimming professionals, among which the European and world Olympic swimmer and medalist Jessica Vall stands out.

This morning, the IV CNA Villa de Frigiliana Swimming Campus with the presence of the European and world Olympic swimmer and medalist Jessica Vall, her coach Jordi Jou, José Antonio Díaz of the Axarquía Swimming Club (CNA) was presented at the Casa del Apero in Frigiliana ) and Antonio Manuel López, Councilor for Sports of the City Council of Frigiliana.

The campus, which is held from August 28 to 31, has 110 boys and girls enrolled between 8 and 15 years old. All of them are waiting for four intense days of activities that combine the didactic and the playful part. They will receive theoretical talks and practical sessions in the pool by the sports professionals who visit us. Jordi Jou has detailed during the presentation that he will talk to boys and girls about how an athlete is prepared, so that they take into account what is important beyond the work in the pool.

Jessica Vall, on the other hand, has commented that the talks will be complemented with the sessions in the pool and has shown her availability and her desire to be with everyone “as one more”. In addition to the swimming technique itself, emphasis will be placed on transmitting “the values ​​that this sport represents”. Both professionals will be present the four days of the campus.

José Antonio Díaz, campus coordinator, has detailed that in the coming days they will be joined by swimmers Víctor Martín and Paloma de Bordons and coach José Antonio García. He has also commented on the parallel activities that will be offered to those registered: orientation circuit, visit to the Nerja cave, kayaking and paddle surfing in the sea and night excursion, among others. The campus will end on Saturday, August 31 with a championship of styles and a final party.

The Councilor for Sports of the City of Frigiliana, Antonio Manuel López, has welcomed and thanked all participants for attending the campus and encouraged to “enjoy and learn in these days of living together.”
