Málaga Karate Championship

On Saturday, January 26

The Málaga Karate Championship will be held in Frigiliana in the Villa de Frigiliana Sports Pavilion

The competition will start at 10am. 

Young athletes will be measured in the Kata (forms) and in Kumite (combat).

The Councillor for Sports, Antonio Manuel López, wants to take advantage of this competition to congratulate that group of young fighters.

1984 promoted the creation of the Frigiliana Shotokan Club. That is why, the City Council has decided that the poster of this Provincial Championship is a photograph of some of those pioneers of Frigilian karate.

In the Shotokan club, many local sportspeople have been trained, which Frigiliana feels especially proud, among which there is no shortage of Spanish champions in both the men’s and the women’s categories.
