Is the patron of Frigiliana and the first party of the year in our municipality. This 2019, the programming brings two intense days of activities.
Saturday, January 19
The acts will begin in the afternoon with the transfer of the saint from the confraternity to the church. After which, there will be the traditional blessing of the animals in the Plaza de la Iglesia itself.
At night
One of the highlights of the party will arrive: Invisible Dance concert. The Malaga group will play in the Plaza de Andalucía at 11pm. The music and the party will continue after the concert with the performance of DJ Emilio González.
Sunday, January 20
The celebration begins in the morning. At 12 noon, there will be a folk festival in the Parque de Andalucía with the performance of local dance groups. At 3:30 pm, flamenco performance by Eduardo López.
At 5:00 pm
It will be the turn of Comandante Lara y Cía who will make the audience laugh with his monologue 100% from Cádiz.
The party will end
Sunday afternoon with the Mass in honour of San Sebastian and the procession of the patron saint. The final touch, will be the fireworks in the Parque de Andalucía.
