Inauguration of the new children’s area of the Parque de Andalucía
On Wednesday, August 14 at 8:00 p.m. the improvement works of the Parque de Andalucía are inaugurated, which has a new children’s play area. There will be popular games, refreshments and snacks for attendees.
The reform of the Parque de Andalucía has consisted of the improvement, delimitation and conditioning of the children’s play area. The inner road that ran through the park has been removed to create a new playground connected to the one already there.
On the other hand, the sources and waterfalls have been eliminated, causing the water to continue its journey under the new park, and an access for vehicles has been created at the west end of the park that facilitates the loading and unloading of material when They perform events on the esplanade.
With this reform, land improvement works, execution of reinforced concrete screeds and perimeter trenches for the electrical and lighting installation have also been executed.
The renovation works of the Park of Andalusia began in March 2019 and have had a budget of 71,390.73 euros funded by the cooperation plan of the Provincial Council.
