III Art Route in Frigiliana
For the third year Frigiliana will fill its beautiful corners with art in the Art Route that will be held from October 4 to 6 . In this edition more than 50 national and international artists will show their works in the 34 locations distributed throughout the municipality.
Painting, photography, sculpture, drawing and digital illustration can be seen in this collective exhibition that takes as an exhibition hall the entire town of Frigiliana, so that the walk through its white and cobbled streets has the added incentive of discovering art at different points.
This edition pays special tribute to the local artist Soledad Platero, who died a few months ago due. Together with the posthumous work of Soledad, we will find the solidarity initiative A daffodil for Soledad that will show images of daffodils, the artist’s favorite flower, in various creative formats, sent by anyone who wants to collaborate in this cause. This initiative has the beneficial objective of raising funds for research against cancer in general and sarcoma, in particular.
The 3rd Art Route of Frigiliana, from October 4 to 6, can be seen from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. It is organized by Maribel Martín and Brendon Taylor (AMARTE Studio-Gallery) in collaboration with the City Council of Frigiliana.
