Exhibition in homage to Eulogio Rosas

On Saturday, March 2 at 7:00 pm, the Homage to Eulogio Rosas exhibition will be inaugurated. The exhibition, which can be visited until March 31, will take place in the exhibition hall of the Casa del Apero.

The event is organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Frigiliana, who wants to thank the family of the distinguished painter and neighbors who have given paintings by Eulogio Rosas for this exhibition so representative of the recent history of Frigiliana.

The painter from Malaga is totally linked to Frigiliana since the 50s, when he began to visit our town with his family. In 1977 he finished building his house in our town, where he lives continuously since 1987.

During all these years Eulogio Rosas has had a very active collaboration with Frigiliana on many levels, has advised different mayors on issues of beautification of the municipality, has restored the Virgin, made a banner for the Brotherhood and was preacher of Holy Week between other contributions.
