Frigiliana City Council subsidies children’s education textbooks
Frigiliana City Council will grant aid to families for the acquisition of mandatory textbooks. The measure, approved in the municipal plenary held on July 31, will subsidise the expenses of textbooks to students in second cycle of children (ages 3, 4 and 5 years).
The requirements to access these grants are to be registered in Frigiliana, to have sons or daughters enrolled in the CEIP Enrique Ginés de Frigiliana in the 2nd stage of early childhood education, not to receive any other help that covers this type of books and to be up-to-date with the tax obligations.
The deadline to apply for the aid will be open from October 3 to 23 . Applications must be submitted to the City Council or through its electronic registry ( frigiliana.sedelectronica.es ). You can consult the rules and download the forms through the following link: Subsidy acquisition of textbooks for children
There are currently 25 students enrolled in three years, 22 in four years, and 28 in five years. In total 75 children who can benefit from this help.
The education councillor Antonio Manuel López is satisfied with this grant that was already provided for in the previous mandate but could not be carried out and now it is launched. “We believe that all education should be free, and the City Council will contribute its small grain of sand.”
