Summerjoy / Alegría de verano

From August 16 to 31 the Spanish artist Alberto Tarsicio and the Dutch artist Lieuwke Loth exhibit in the space ‘Real 98’. The exhibition is entitled Summerjoy / Summer Joy and can be visited from August 16 to 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. from Thursday to Saturday. The inauguration will be next Friday, August 16 at 6pm.
Alberto Tarsicio will show oil painting prints of the summer sun illuminating the Mediterranean Sea. It works with fluorine colors and is able to paint the waves and water in such a vibrant way that it makes seawater splashes feel outside the canvas. It will also show a series of paintings of radiant flowers. Tarsicio was born and raised in the coastal area of Torre del Mar. Today he is a professional artist who shows his works locally and abroad.
Lieuwke Loth is a Dutch artist based in the Natural Park of Competa. He runs a gallery in the center of town; “Light of Life Gallery”. He loves to create art, organize art events and connect with other creative souls. He has organized the “Art Walk” for six years, and in autumn he will have his fifth International Symposium “LIGHT” in Competa. The bronze sculpture works and also laser cut metal parts. He also draws and paints fantastic and colorful pieces. He loves to travel by inspiration and the works he does are influenced by the cultures and countries he has explored. In this exhibition it will show mainly laser cut wall pieces made of stainless steel or stoneware.
