Day of the Cane Honey

Frigiliana will celebrate the sixth edition of Honey Day.
This day revolves around the cane honey that is made in our town, since 1929.
The Ingenio Nuestra Senora del Carmen, the only cane honey factory in Europe.
The festivities will start from 12: 00h to 19: 00h and during this time there will be guided tours to the factory, an exhibition of milling of the sugarcane live. In addition, there will be free tastings and preparation of recipes always using the main product of the day.
The Honey Day will also include the exhibition of popular dances and the performance of the Rociero Peña de la Amistad Choir.
