Frigiliana Choir and Dance Festival

Frigiliana will host the Choir and Dance Festival in its thirty-eighth edition. This annual festival is a fantastic opportunity to get closer to traditional music and dances from other regions of our country, in addition to enjoying those of Malaga. In this edition, the invited groups come from Córdoba and Cenicientos (Madrid), and will also have the performance of the group of Choirs and Municipal Dances of Frigiliana, host and organizer of the festival with the City Council.
The celebration will be at 9:30 p.m. in the Plaza de las 3 Culturas. On the stage, the Marquesa de Benamejí Cordovan group will perform, which will offer a repertoire of fandangos, flamenco and alegrías from Córdoba, among others, and the Cenkillor Huelearromero Folkloric Group (Madrid), with traditional string, jotas and rondallas.
The XXXVIII Festival of Choirs and Dances will be completed with the performance of the group of Choirs and Municipal Dances of Frigiliana that will dance verdiales, malagueñas, sevillanas and other samples of popular folklore of our region.
