2019 August 3 Cultures Festival XIV edition

among other cultural activities will give life to the town of Frigiliana this August . The delegate of tourism of the Junta de Andalucía, Nuria Rodríguez , the mayor of Frigiliana, Alejandro Herrero and the councilor for tourism, Carmen Cereza , yesterday presented the XIV edition of the Frigiliana 3 Cultures Festival that will take place on 22, 23, 24 and August 25 in the municipality.

The mayor of Frigiliana, Alejandro Herrero, highlighted the festival as “a commitment to family, quiet, gastronomic and cultural tourism”. The Councilor for Tourism, Carmen Cerezo, presented the contents of this edition, which repeats two of its essential elements: the route of the tapa and the artisanal market . A total of eighteen establishments will participate in the route of the cover, which will be divided into two routes.

The musical agenda is another of the highlights of this edition. Nine concerts and three DJs in four different stages will sound this year through the streets of Frigiliana. Ana Alcaide, Bombino, Felah-Menkub, the Pompa Jonda and the local DJ Beat are some of the programmed musical performances. There is still to announce a headliner that will act on Sunday. “It will not leave you indifferent,” said the tourism councilor.

The Festival Frigiliana 3 Culturas will continue to offer activities for children, conferences, movies, workshops and a piro musical show, among other proposals. The streets of the village will be decorated with hand-made decoration by local women’s associations and candlelight lighting will be placed in the alley of the Inquisitor and the alley of the Weaver. The councilor referred to the website of the festival to be aware of the news.
